WRITE WITH CLARITY

A flexible online notepad for everyday writing

Capture an idea, draft an article, or prepare Markdown documentation in one focused workspace. Your notes remain in your browser until you choose to export them.

What can you do with an online notepad?

A browser-based notepad is useful for meeting summaries, research notes, quick drafts and technical documentation. Start writing immediately without installing an application.

Use rich text when you want visual formatting, or Markdown when you need portable syntax for websites and documentation.

Rich text and Markdown: which should you choose?

Rich text is convenient for headings, lists and links. Markdown uses lightweight symbols so documents are easier to review and reuse in developer workflows.

Preview generated Markdown before copying it into a CMS. Uploaded images may need separate hosting or attachment export before links work on another website.

How to get started

  1. Create a note and give it a descriptive title.
  2. Write and format your content, adding lists and links where helpful.
  3. Use Split Preview to review the result or inspect Markdown.
  4. Export important notes regularly as a backup.

Frequently asked questions

Are my notes automatically saved?

Notes are stored locally in your browser when local storage is available. They are not automatically synced between devices.

Can I use Markdown on another website?

Yes. Copy the Markdown source, but verify image URLs and custom formatting on your destination platform.

MARKDOWN LEARNING CENTER

Write clean Markdown for GitHub, documentation and CMS publishing

Markdown turns everyday writing into portable, readable source. Use Live Preview to see formatting, or choose Markdown to copy the source for your blog, README, or documentation.

Headings and paragraphs

Use one to six hash marks for headings. Separate paragraphs with a blank line so content stays readable in different Markdown renderers.

> Keep it simple.

Images and attachments

An image uses alternative text in brackets and its location in parentheses. Images uploaded from your computer must travel with the Markdown document.

When a note includes uploaded images, Markdown export downloads a ZIP with the Markdown file and its referenced images.

Code and horizontal rules

Use backticks for inline code, triple backticks for code blocks, and three hyphens for a divider.

Use `npm run build` to compile.

```js
const ready = true;
Extended Markdown
Some platforms support tables, checklists, strikethrough and footnotes. These are not equally supported across every CMS, so always check the destination renderer.
